New dimensions in performance with Kannegiesser at the Texcare International

The textile care industry continues to be subject to price and competitive pressures in nearly all areas with a parallel increase in costs for personnel, textiles and energy.

Increasing productivity, reducing operating costs by maintaining consistently high quality and availability are therefore the needs of the moment.

At the Texcare 2012 KANNEGIESSER wants to provide information, put forward ideas and demonstrate concrete examples of successful reconstructions, step-by-step modernisation and efficiency enhancement of the entire business process.

Priority setting during the integration of the various technology sectors should be facilitated and for this purpose a cross-section through all areas of modern machine technology will be displayed as well as examples of logistics, data and information management, along with intelligent transport and sorting technology and efficient resource management (energy and water).

Further development and significant progress in the machine technology field have been put into practice in all divisions: the continuous batch washers of the PowerTrans series have been optimised with an unprecedented consistency regarding performance, flexibility and operating costs.

In the flatwork division new logistic contexts can be offered, the feeding technology has been further perfected and on top of this performance, energy consumption, operational safety and finishing quality of the ironing process have been optimised.

Further leaps in development in terms of energy efficiency have been made in water extraction and drying technologies but also the tunnelfinishers have been included in the energy management systematics.
