Soiled garments are already sorted before the washing process. At each station items are scanned and clamped before being automatically conveyed to specific storage lanes. The garments can be sorted according to various criteria and washing programs, taking weight and volume into account. Once a batch is fully stored, X-Sort transports garments to the correct washing machines and selects the correct washing program.
